We didnʼt just like Family Summer, we loved it! As a dad of 5, there was real rest from the normal day-to-day: everything was made so easy for us. The meals are completely taken care of (and delicious!) The views from the hotel and all over Beaver Creek were breathtaking. Every morning when we opened our curtains, our one year old would say, "Oh woooow!" Beauty everywhere! The planned activities around the resort were adventurous and challenging for a variety of ages. We didnʼt know that we would enjoy hiking with the kids as much as we did - they could do so much more than we thought they were capable of. Family bingo and square dancing were huge highlights. There is so much leisure time to give to these kinds of things that normal life doesnʼt always present to families. We made friends with other couples through Family Enrichment small group discussions and other get togethers, and the kids made fast friends through their camp groups. Our family vacation at Family Summer overflowed with all of the good stuff: rest, friends, adventure, beauty, silliness inspiration, learning, freedom. James, Houston |
