Lodging Rates
Description of Lodging Accommodations
The Pines Lodge has several hotel room configurations as follows: Double Queen hotel room (“DQR”) King hotel room (“KR”) King Deluxe room ("KD") King Corner room which includes a double sleeper sofa (“KCR”) Note: Connecting rooms are available but they are limited. These rooms will be allocated to families that request them on a first come first served basis. Please be mindful that families with younger children might have a greater need for these rooms. (*) Some rooms in each category may vary so please confirm while making your reservations. Standard occupancy can be exceeded so long as additional occupants are children under 13 years of age and the maximum occupancy is not exceeded. (**) Family Summer is a non for profit entity. Therefore Family Summer participants are exempt from paying the 10.99% hotel room tax. Meal Plan Meals will be catered by the Grouse Mountain Grill, an award-winning restaurant in The Pines Lodge. Cost of the meals is as follows and it includes breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. $549.00 /adult for entire stay (13yrs & up). $385.00 /child for entire stay (4–12yrs old). Free for 3yrs & under. Registration Fee A non-refundable registration fee of $750 per family (if application is submitted before Feb 15, 2023) will be charged to pay Family Summer costs such us insurance, counselors, childcare, Family Enrichment moderators, course materials, supplies, etc. After February 15, 2023 the registration fee is $850. Travel cost
If you decide to fly to Beaver Creek you can: Colorado Mountain Express shuttles to Beaver Creek are available to/from Denver Airport. Rent a car at the airport and ride to Beaver Creek (130 miles). However: Once in Beaver Creek, there is a complimentary shuttle service for all guests staying in the resort, so a car is not needed. Guests may ask their lodging concierge to arrange pick-up or drop-off times anywhere within the resort, or call Village Transportation to make arrangements at: (970) 949-1938 A car will be needed in two occasions (Rafting day and Piney Lake Ranch): you can rent a car in the town of Avon. |

Commitment and Refunds
- Applications will be accepted starting on August 15, 2022.
- First contact by FS representative for a phone interview within two weeks of application.
- Pay registration fee: Within a week of admission to program.
- Payment for 50% of your family's total cost due by March 31, 2023. The full balance is due by June 15, 2023.
- FS 2023 Check- in: Saturday July 22, 2023 after 4:00 pm
- FS 2023 Check- out: Sunday July 30, 2023 before 11:00 am

Commitment and Refunds
- Only registrations for the full 8 night program are accepted for each room and meal plan booked.
- Every participant will be charged for the full 3-meal-per-day plan according to the prices indicated in the payment section. No partial room or food booking.
- We currently plan to eat one meal at a location other than the hotel (rodeo night). This meal is deducted from the total price of meal plans indicated above. In this occasion each family will buy their own food from vendors at the rodeo.
- The Registration Fee is Non-Refundable.
- Hotel rooms and meal plan cancellation charges: If a registrant cancels their registration, cancellation charges apply. Family Summer can elect, at its sole discretion, to refund any of these cancellation charges. Such decision will greatly depend on FS not having more vacancies and its ability to admit other family to take the vacated spot.
